Pizza! The universal food that everybody likes. Kids and adults alike regularly crave pizza. Its delicously wonderful bread and cheese with any toppings you could ever desire.
The fact that most of the world absolutely loves pizza makes it so we are always looking for alternate ways to get something a little different while still being able to eat pizza. Thus we have today… PIZZA ROLLS!
For easy and great tasting dough check out a bread dough recipe here.
Now if you have ever made cinnamon rolls then you will know the concept of rolling your pizza rolls.
This is a quick and easy recipe which is my favorite kind of recipe. When you have your dough ready you just need to roll it out. Make a rectangle on your counter. The exact size will vary based off of how big you want your rolls to end up.
Get your pizza sauce and spread it out on your dough leaving about an inch on the top and bottom without sauce. This is so the dough will stick together once its rolled. Add your cheese and whatever toppings. I stuck with pepperoni this time around. Roll it up, the tighter the better. Its not a big deal but its easier to handle later.
Once you have your big roll you are going to cut peices about an inch or two wide and lay them flat in your pan. If your roll wasnt tight go ahead and squish the rolls to help them be more solid.
Stick it in the oven until cooked through and serve with extra pizza sauce.
1/2 cup pizza sauce
1 1/2 cup mozzerella cheese
Your choice of pizza toppings
Roll out dough in a large rectangle. Spread pizza sauce on dough. Sprinkle cheese and toppings. Roll dough from bottom to top and pinch end of dough onto the roll. Cut one to two inch pieces and place on cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 for 15 minutes
